This is an opportunity for you to show off your leadership skills and personal strengths. Think about all the things that make you unique, or what makes your personality different from all the other pledges going through recruitment. This is also a great time for you to tell them about some of your interests outside of school, such as playing music or being part of another club or organization on campus.

6. What are your hobbies?

You will probably be asked about your hobbies and interests as well. This is a good time to mention some of the things you are involved in that are also relevant to the fraternity. If you have played any sports, tell them. If you have any artistic talents, mention those as well. You do not need to be an artist to join a fraternity, but it will help your cause if you can make good posters.

Use this opportunity to talk about your best book ever read. It can be any genre. The interviewer would only need to know that there’s someone you’s story you loved out there. They are not going to ask you to tell them about the book. It’s just a straightforward answer.

Use this opportunity to tell them about the college or high school you attended and how it is one of the best schools in your area and why you loved the school to date. Don’t be scared to tell them both negative and positive things about the school if given the opportunity to do so.
